While EP-1: Echoes & Waves touched on the titanic topics of abandonment, alcoholism, the death of a parent, coping with an adoption, and coming to terms with the past, EP-2: Shadows & Sand is the second half of what was always intended to be a full length album.

With the two most requested tracks from EP-1 (edited as well as remastered) added to create a more complete listening experience, Shadows & Sand is about identifying grief, waking up on the proverbial shore, and trying to move to a place of peace, hope and faith.
